I was doing some online exploring, and look at what I found here! It's 55 questions about me and books! What could be better? Let's start answering, shall we?

The Dish series by Diane Muldrow.
2. What are you reading right now?
The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness
3. What books do you have on request at the library?
Where Things Come Back by John Corey Whaley, for my brother.
4. Bad book habit?
Abandoning books quickly.

6. Do you have an e-reader?
Yes. 2, actually.
7. Do you prefer to read one book at a time, or several at once?
One book at a time.
8. Have your reading habits changed since starting a blog?
Yes. Since I now take notes when I read, my pace is much slower.
9. Least favorite book you read this year (so far?)
The Pearl.
10. Favorite book you've read this year?
The Mortal Instruments series.
11. How often do you read out of your comfort zone?
I tend to read out of my comfort zone frequently.
12. What is your reading comfort zone?
Around 500 page books, teen or YA.
13. Can you read on the bus?
No, I get distracted by all the people. Plus, it's so loud.
14. Favorite place to read?
Sprawled on my bed.
15. What is your policy on book lending?
I'll offer to lend books, but actually lending them is a different matter entirely. XD
16. Do you ever dog-ear books?
No. I collect bookmarks, so what would the point of dog-earing be?
17. Do you ever write in the margins of your books?

19. What is your favorite language to read in?
20. What makes you a love a book?
Descriptive writing, great characters, humor, loads of action and a swoon-worthy romance.
21. What will inspire you to recommend a book? 
I'll take this opportunity to quote John Green:
From The Fault in Our Stars:

“Sometimes, you read a book and it fills you with this weird evangelical zeal, and you become convinced that the shattered world will never be put back together unless and until all living humans read the book.” 
Books like that.
22. Favorite genre?
Dystopian and fantasy.
23. Genre you rarely read (but wish you did?)
I have to start reading more non-fiction! I almost never read it!
24. Favorite biography?
See above. :P
25. Have you ever read a self-help book?
Yes, Tuesdays with Morrie.
26. Favorite cookbook?
I don't know, Big Book of Cupcakes?
27. Most inspirational book you've read this year (fiction or nonfiction)?
The Fault in Our Stars
28. Favorite reading snack?
I don't really care. I can eat anything when I read... if it's edible.
29. Name a case in which hype ruined your reading experience?
Well, in the case of The Infernal Devices, all the hype threw massive spoilers at my face so I suppose that will ruin my reading experience.
30. How often do you agree with critics about a book?
A lot of the time.
31. How do you feel about giving bad/negative reviews?
They're really fun to write, but I give them out rarely.
32. If you could read in a foreign language, which language would you choose?
Probably in french, so I could read the original Les Miserables.
33. Most intimidating book you've ever read?
Um, in size, The Book Thief. In content, Fahrenheit 451.
34. Most intimidating book you're too nervous to begin?
War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy. It's a brick!
35. Favorite poet?
I don't often read poetry. Lewis Carroll, I guess.
36. How many books do you usually have checked out of the library at any given time?
10-15, but sometimes I go crazy and can have as many as 20+!
37. How often have you returned the book to the library unread?
I do this all the time. Those due dates just sneak up on you!
38. Favorite fictional character?
 JACE. JACE. JACE. (From The Mortal Instruments series).
39. Favorite fictional villain?
As in, the one I hate the most? Sebastian/Jonathan. *Imagines herself brutally killing him*.
40. Books I'm most likely to bring on vacation?
Whatever book I want to read. I don't bring a specific type.
41. The longest I've gone without reading?
Not long. 1 or 2 days at the most.
42. Name a book that you could/would not finish?
Where The Red Fern Grows. I knew the ending, and I didn't want to die of sadness.
43. What distracts you easily when you're reading?
My iPod Touch, YouTube, and Goodreads.
44. Favorite film adaptation of a novel?
Confessions of a Shopaholic.
45. Most disappointing film adaptation?
I have no idea.
46. The most money I've ever spent in the bookstore at one time.
Around $50.
47. How often do you skim a book before reading it?
Very often.
48. What would cause you to stop a book half-way through?
If I'm bored out of my mind.

I'm selfish. I keep them.
51. Are there any books you've been avoiding?
Psh... yeah! Twilight and 50 Shades of Grey.

53. A book that you didn't expect to like but did? 
The Hunger Games.

55. Favorite guilt-free, pleasure reading?
Chick lit of any kind.
