June TBR

Saturday, June 7, 2014
Hi everyone! Today I'll be doing my monthly TBR for June!

1. We Were Liars by E. Lockhart
I'm actually nearly done with this book. It's the booktube Booksplosion book of the month, and is also severely hyped up, so I decided I had to read it ASAP. As of right now, it's good, but it hasn't blown my mind or anything.

2. Never Fade by Alexandra Bracken
Well, I kind of adored the first book, The Darkest Minds, and so I went out and brought a copy of Never Fade straight away. But library books keep taking top priority, and I've never gotten a chance to read this. I'm hoping I get that chance this month.

3. Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare
FINALLY. FINALLY. I loved The Mortal Instruments, and people kept telling me that this spinoff series was even better but I never got around to it. But now that I'm going through TMI withdrawal (I finished the last book at the end of May), I decided I need to read this book immediately.

4. Days of Blood & Starlight by Laini Taylor
In hindsight, I liked the first book of this trilogy quite a bit, even though I initially felt let down by it. The book has been on my mind a lot lately, so I decided that I should read the next book. And also, I love the covers of these books. They're so pretty!

5. I am the Messenger by Markus Zusak
I saw this book on a shelf in the library and I might of shrieked. Markus Zusak wrote The Book Thief, one of the best books I've ever read, so I knew I had to read this the first chance I got, so hopefully this month? As soon as possible, for sure!

6. Something Real by Heather Demetrios
When I saw the description for this book on Goodreads, I was like, "I need you. NOW." It's such a good premise! And then I saw it at the library and I snatched it up before anyone else could take it. This was basically me:

Since it sounds like such a cool story, I'd like to read it this month.

That's my TBR for the month of June! What do you guys plan on reading this month? What do you think of my picks for the month? Let me know in the comments. See you all tomorrow!
